August 23rd, 2011′ – Journal Entry
The kids went to school today. Brian and I went out for coffee. I had a couple of hours to myself. It is very weird to be without my kids. Jesus calling said, ” Entrust your loved ones to Me.” Boy, isn’t that the truth. I have to trust and let go of my grip on them and cling to God. I did a lot of clinging to God. I also have been a bit moody with my family. Hopefully by being in God’s presence I will be led by His Spirit to be loving.
I did a lot of talking to God, but not a whole lot of listening. I also went on the computer to check my email too much. I need to check it once in the morning and once at night.
August 24th –
Holy Spirit – I want you to worship Me.
Me – Jesus, I am scared to go back to networking and the social media.
I was reading a book called “Costly Grace.” It said, “In truth, it is a life in which Jesus is the only significance.”
Me – Spirit, continue to remind me that Jesus is my only significance and to not fear the rest, but put it all in Jesus’ hands
I am not afraid anymore.
August 25th –
Jesus Calling, “I am training you to be aware of Me at all times…Your assignment is to collaborate with Me in this training process…The quickest way to redirect your mind to Me is to whisper My name.” Inspired by Exodus 3:14; 1 Cor 3:16; Psalm 25:14-15
Me – Do You have anything to tell me today?
Holy Spirit – Let your light shine for all to see so everyone will know that I am God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, Lara. I love you. Be obedient to My way and My will for your life and you will see great things.
